Britain's Atlantis Found

Science teams from the University of St Andrews Doggerland, have made an amazing discovery. They have found in the North Sea what they are calling 'Britain's Atlantis' and they believe it disappeared into the ocean around 6500BC
Scientists believe The land that stretched from Scotland to Denmark was submerged between 18,000 BC and 5,500 BC.
Scientists also believe this could have been the real heartland of Europe and suggest the population would have been in the tens of thousands.
New data from oil companies supplied to a team of archaeologists, geophysicists and climatologists, has enabled them to map the area to reveal the full extend of the submerged land, even suggesting that mammoths once existed here.
The low lying area was submerged over thousands of years.
