Holidays are meant to be fun, but they can be exhausting and use muscles that we may not have stretched for years. Aches and pains accumulated by walking, waiting, long plane trips, different beds and the many adventurous escapades tourists often get into can sometimes severely impact on your level of enjoyment and even your ability to do everything you want to.

Spending thousands upon thousands of our savings only to miss some event or activity because we are too worn out is a crying shame.

So,  we are updating Holiday Destinations to review some of the best international day spas that we've enjoyed:

TANK Bathhouse and Day Spa - Mooloolaba, Australia: This would have to be one of our best day spa experiences, not just because it is almost on our doorstep, but the quality of services is up there with the best we have seen. Also, we are still to come across any other day spa that offers the comprehensive variety of services, including outstanding healthy foods, luxury boat cruises and much more. See the full review.

HAIKOU Spa - Missions Hills Golf Resort -  Chenzhen, China: If not the largest, then. close to the biggest dedicated spa resort in the world, the actual treatment facilities cover more than five acres, or about three times the size of a soccer pitch. See the full review.
