Tanzania Highlights
Mt Kilimanjaro
There is nothing quite like it anywhere else on earth. The world’s tallest freestanding mountain and the only place on land where you can clearly see the curvature of the earth! It is a challenge, no doubt, but the rewards are immense – the friendly welcome and endless encouragement from the Chagga guides and porters, the endemic fauna, the history, geology and local mythology, and the warmth of the sun rising over Africa, climbing slowly above the summit of Mawenzi and catching the glacial ice that accompanies you along the crater rim to Uhuru Peak.
Mount Kilimanjaro is also often referred to as the ‘Roof top of Africa’. The highest point is Uhuru Peak 5895 meters above sea level. More than 22,000 climb every year.

Camping Safaris
Some of the highlights to the camping safari is:
In Serengeti National Park you will follow the migration... Watch thousands of wildebeest and zebra in their natural habitat. See male wildebeest battle for control of the uninterested females. Watch zebra feed on the fresh grasses of the Serengeti Plain. The Serengeti region encompasses Serengeti National Park itself, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Maswa Game Reserve, the Loliondo, Grumeti and Ikorongo.
Wake up to go on a balloon ride over the Serengeti. Eat a champagne breakfast in the bush before proceeding on a final game drive. Drive to Grumet River to spend time watching bird and water life. We will have the opportunity to view crocodiles and may be lucky enough to see a crocodile hunt a wildebeest. Campsite in time for a spectacular sunset. Simba Campsite overlooks the crater and offers breathtaking views.
Descend 2000 feet to the crater floor and is the largest unbroken caldera in the world, Ngorongoro has an area of 260 kilometers and a depth of 610 meters.

The best time to visit Tanzania
You can visit Tanzania at any time but if you want to see the "great migration" the best months are April and early May during the big rains. November to March and June and July are also excellent when the herds are in Serengeti. By August they have usually moved up into Kenya, coming back in early November.
In the dry season, July to October, large concentrations of up to 6,000 elephants migrate to Tarangire National Park
Health Requirements
Yellow Fever inoculation certificate is obtained from your nearest travel clinic or from your local physician. Staple it into the front of your passport if you are afraid of losing it. Most African countries require this certificate, so don’t ever be without it when traveling in Africa.
Malaria medication is advisable when traveling to Tanzania. In addition carrying some Mosquito repel ants, covering your legs and hands properly when sleeping are advisable safety measures against the Mosquito bites. You are as well recommended to carry something warm and a light rain jacket because whereas the days are hot, the evenings are always cool.
