Turkey is well known for its gorgeous beaches and resorts that are flocked with visitors all year round. There are a number of beaches in Turkey where you can visit during your summer holidays. Most of these beaches are rarely busy.
Ovabuku
Ovabuku is a state-of-the-arts beach situated on the Datca peninsula. The beach is home to many classy restaurants. Along the county side of the beach you can see pine forests mixed with carob, myrtle and oak trees. The tranquil conditions also make this beach a hotspot for those who love peaceful places.
Butterfly Valley
This is a spectacular beach situated between cliffs and normally only accessible by boat from Fethiye or Olu Deniz. The beach has permits for camping although it has no buildings, electricity or roads. There are numerous sheltered areas under the trees along the beach. Alternatively, you can view the beach from the Faralya viewpoint. Accommodation is available at the Mandarin Hotel is quite affordable.
Amos
Amos is a beach hidden between Kumlubuk and Turunc resorts along Bozburun Peninsula. It is a small cove located in between two headlands. Amos beach is covered with pebbles, wooden loungers and well-lit with Marmaris lights. The beach has classy restaurants such as Serendip that serves a selection of fresh and luscious delicacies.
Gemiler
Gemiler is just a short distance away from the very popular Olu Deniz beach. Gemiler can be accessed by bus from Hisaronu or by boat from Olu Deniz area. It is surrounded by olive and palm trees and this adds to the beauty of the beach. While at Gemiler, you can visit a number of hotels such as Tanga Evi for superb accommodation and delicious meals.
Cirali Beach
This is a 3-kilometer stretch of beach area that is very secure. The beach is well known for the loggerhead turtles that roam the beach occasionally. The whole area surrounding Cirali is amazing.

This is an alternative beach for those staying at Faralya but can’t make it to Butterfly Valley. It is a stretch that is bordered on its three sides by amazing pine forest. Although Kabak beach has little to offer, it has a few designated campsites at Reflections Camp where you can stay if you are a camper.
Gunluklu
During weekdays, Gunluklu is always a peaceful spot to visit. However, don’t consider visiting it during weekends as it is normally crammed with residents. Gunluklu is a real option for those who want a peaceful spot to view the sunset. The Bay is a classic hotel located at the beach to offer its visitors affordable accommodation.
Ortakent
This is a delightful beach lying along the Bodrum peninsula. It is a great option for family vacations as it is filled with water-sporting activities such as sailing, surfing and kayaking.
