Assam
The Bihu dance is a folk dance from the Indian state of Assam related to the festival of Bihu. This joyous dance is performed by both young men and women, and is characterized by brisk dance steps,and rapid hand movement. The merriments include dances along with the enthralling beats of Dhol and Pepa (buffalo hornpipe). Songs sung during the Bihu festival are woven around themes of love and most of the time carry erotic overtones. People wear traditional attires like Dhoti, Gamocha and Chadar, Mekhala. Majuli or Majoli is a large river island in the Brahmaputra river, in Assam, India.

the Brahmaputra, joined by the Subansiri River in the north. Mājuli island is accessible by ferries from the City of Jorhat. The island is about 200 kilometres east from the state's largest city —Guwahati. The island was formed due to course changes by the river Brahmaputra and its tributaries, mainly the Lohit. Majuli is also the abode of the Assamese neo-Vaisnavite culture.

Andaman
Island Tourism Festival is a fortnight long festival organized by the Andaman & Nicobar Administration every year (December - January) gives a festive look to the Islands. The exhibition highlights the developmental aspects of these islands. Cultural troupes and artistes of national and international fame are invited to perform during the festival apart from performances by the talents of these islands including tribals. Water sports competitions like Nicobari Hodi race are organized.
Andhra Pradesh
Pocharam Forest & Wildlife Sanctuary is located 15 kms from Medak and 115 kms from Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. This sanctuary can be reached by private transport from Medak. Pocharam Forest was the favourite hunting ground of the Nizam and he declared it as a wild life sanctuary in the early part of 20th century. Surrounded by lush green forest, it is rich in flora and fauna and attracts a lot of winged visitors, like the Bar-Headed Goose, Brahminy Bucks and Open Billed Stork. There is a center for Eco-tourism where visitors can see five species of Antelopes and Deer. Summer temperature goes up to 46 C & in winter it drops to 6 C. The sanctuary is home to animals like Leopard, Forest Cat, Wild Dog, Wolf, Jackal, Sloth Bear, Sambar, Nilgai, Chinkara, Chital, and Four horned Antelope. Best season to visit : November to January.
Delhi
The Masjid-i Jahān-Numā, commonly known as the Jama Masjid of Delhi, is the principal mosque of Old Delhi in India. Commissioned by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, builder of the Taj Mahal,in the year 1650 CE and completed in the year 1656 AD, it is the largest and best-known mosque in India. It lies at the origin of a very busy central street of Old Delhi, the Chawri Bazar Road.
The later name, Jama Masjid, is a reference to the weekly Friday noon congregation prayers of Muslims, Jummah, which are usually done at a mosque, the "congregational mosque" or "jāmi' masjid". The courtyard of the mosque can hold up to twenty-five thousand worshippers. The mosque also houses several relics in a closet in the north gate, including an antique copy of the Holy Quran written on deer skin.

Gujarat
This picture is featuring a Meghwal woman in the Hodka village, north of Bhuj, Gujarat, India.The origin of Meghwal is from Marwar, it is in Rajasthan; but now they are spread over Kutchh. Generally Meghwal tribals live outside the villages. This tribe has its excellence in cotton weaving and wool weaving. The Meghwal women do fine embroidery and designing work. Another specialty of this tribe is leather embroidery. Married women of Meghwal tribe, wear a gold nose ring, which is known as Velado. For them it is a symbol of marriage. Haryana
Surajkund is located near the Surajkund village between the villages of Baharpur and Lakkarpur in Faridabad district of Haryana.In the backdrop of the lake, during the spring season, every year from February 1–15, a colorful traditional craft festival of India is held in the precincts of Surajkund. This fair was first started in 1987.
